  • Texas AG Ken Paxton has sued Netflix, accusing it of “spying” on consumers by tracking detailed viewing habits, devices, home networks and other data without proper consent, then sharing that information with data brokers and ad-tech firms

  • President Trump told CBS News he backs the plan to suspend the 18.4-cents-per-gallon federal gasoline tax “for a period of time”…the move is pitched as relief amid gas prices jumping from under $3 to about $4.50 a gallon since the Iran war began, this move would require Congressional action

  • Over the weekend Iran replied to the U.S.’s peace proposal, however refuses to dismantle its nuclear facilities, President Trump has since rejected Iran’s response, saying that he doesn’t like it and called their terms “totally unacceptable”…President Trump said he is considering renewing "Project Freedom" in the Strait of Hormuz, which was the U.S. military operation established to escort merchant ships through the Strait and also today Trump described the ceasefire between the U.S. and Iran as "unbelievably weak" and "on life support”

  • Arcadia, California Mayor Eileen Wang has been federally charged with acting as an illegal agent for China by secretly working with her ex‑fiancé Yaoning “Mike” Sun to push pro‑Beijing narratives through a local news outlet…prosecutors allege Wang coordinated with Chinese officials on what to publish and now faces up to a decade in prison if convicted

  • The man accused of opening fire at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, Cole Tomas Allen, has pleaded not guilty in federal court to all charges against him

  • The Trump administration is planing to temporarily reduce tariffs on beef imports as early as this week in an effort to reduce beef prices

  • FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez, the lone Democrat on the commission, warned Disney CEO Josh D’Amaro that the Trump administration is using the FCC to wage a “sustained, coordinated campaign of censorship and control” against Disney-owned ABC
